The Nokia N79 is a slick little pill of a handset. There are too many different materials and surfaces on Nokia N 79 mobile. The front of the mobile review unit was glossy white. Around the edge sat a band of chrome. Around back, swappable battery covers are glossy with a textured-looking finish. Further down the side, the phone uses a sandblasted metallic look. The phone’s 4-way button also acts as a touch sensitive Navi Wheel.
Nokia N79 mobile price in India is around Rs.12500/-.
Nokia packs an FM transmitter N79 for broadcasting to a nearby radio. The side stereo speaker of the handset were also surprisingly loud, though a bit tinny, especially in bass-heavy tunes. There are plenty of EQ and sound modifying options built to balance the sound. A standard set of cans with 3.5mm jack accommodate in this phone. User can pair with a stereo Bluetooth set for wireless listening. N79 has 4GB microSD card slot that gives freedom to load songs, pictures and videos.
The Nokia N79 has a surprisingly good Web browser, perhaps even better than it needs to be. web Pages loaded fairly quickly over AT&T’s fast HSDPA network, and even quicker when user browsing Wi-Fi.
with a 5-megapixel lens carrying Carl Zeiss brandĀ shoot pretty good images. N79 handset is capable of recording VGA-resolution videos.
The mobile uses Nokia Maps for mapping and turn-by-turn navigation, and the mobile is powerful enough to handle the robust mapping application. Maps scrolled and zoomed smoothly, and the handset usually has no trouble finding the location. Maps also loaded quickly over the fast, 3G connection. but nevi wheel not work in this application.
